Charles sent a nice variety of cards from California and the Northwest.  Most of the sailors got so caught up in the celebrations and greeting that sending postcards dropped off and having a good time became the order of the day.  This group is particularly nice for the cards in the northwest, including cards from Bremerton Naval Shipyard and Port Townsend, Washington.
