The collection of Charles Stotz contains 96 cards from Trinidad to the Rock of Gibraltar, all with cancels.  Charles was on the USS Illinois and seemed to get an opportunity to visit each port.  His cards from Amoy, China and Algers, Algeria are particularly nice, however other cards from Japan, Manila, and Colombo are special to this collection.  Charles was a sailor that tried to send out postcards as part of his routine in every port.  No doubt something as a CPO had become part of his routine to keep in touch with his family.
