One of the unique souvenirs that was sold to sailors on the cruise was items made from light gauge aluminum sheet that had been painted with the image of the ship and etched with a border or decoration! These pieces were available for the Atlantic Fleet on the trip to the West Coast and upon arrival in San Francisco.
