This is a rare group of cards. I know of no other photographs showing the Wisconsin and Kansas at anchor in the Port of Valletta. The collection also include photos from the Chapel of Bones, which is next on my bucket list of place to visit of the Great White Fleet. This first card is like the locomotive in Egypt, a great shot of the Malta Electric Tramway, Wow!
This tram is one of the ten cars built in 1904 by the British Electric Car Company of Trafford Park, Manchester and mounted on American built Brill 21E four-wheel trucks. There were seven track miles with three routes, all starting at Porta Reale, just outside Velletta.
